Pattern Lab is a master's level minor study at Aalto University of Arts, Design and Architecture in Helsinki. It is a year long study project focusing on creating a large, professional surface design collection.
I was one of the designers in Pattern Lab 2013. During the project, I created 30 various surface patterns that apply to home interior, fashion, clothing and accessories. One of my patterns was purchased by the renowned Finnish home textile company - Finlayson Oy. As shown below, the pattern Koivu was featured in their spring summer collection 2014.
